New fic!

I wrote this yesterday in response to [personal profile] darsynia's First Lines meme. It's posted at [profile] fic_simplicity because it fits a prompt there. Haven't posted on ff.net or FanLib yet; I think there's another chapter to come, though this is complete in itself.
