Day 04 - Your favorite show ever

It's a toss-up. Yup. A toss-up.

One: Thunderbirds.

Pretty much the only show I write fic for. I have the DVDs, the toys, tie-in novels, the movies, the books about the show, the comics... not quite everything produced, but close. I have an RP dedicated to it, a website, lots of links. For a show done with marionettes that lasted only 32 episodes, it's really touched my life in a BIG, BIG way. And I can't even really explain why.

Two: Batman: The Animated Series

I have always loved Batman. Ever since the show back in the 1960s, I have loved the characters... particularly Robin. (I have a thing about sidekicks... sort of a damsel-in-distress thing.) But not until B:TAS did television get it RIGHT. The 60s show was campy, and played it up for laughs. Any of the cartoons (though I loved them, too) either were based on that show, or were so watered down as to be unpalatable.

But B:TAS got it right. The Dark Knight. His city. His villains. His friends. Great artwork. Great stories.  This is something I want to own... but I'm not sure I can write fanfic for it.
