had me up at 2, 3, and 4 a.m. writhing on the bed trying to make my feet stop hurting. At one point I thought it was my muse being a pain in the butt since a bit of dialogue from later in Washed Up kept running through my head. I got up, booted up the 'puter, sketched it out in a .doc file, shut down and went back to bed. My feet seemed to feel better while I was writing, but it didn't last long.

As a result, I was barely awake while driving everyone around. I decided to get breakfast at Mickey D's (MacDonald's) and getting out and walking around was the best thing for me. For the past two hours or so I've been half asleep at the keyboard. I'm finally perking up, but I really should take a nap. And I will, soon.

hasn't gotten better during the day. My first attempt at a nap was worthless; I lay in bed for an hour and no sleep. My second attempt, once I picked up my husband, was better, even with the really painful session on the ride home. I wonder sometimes if people believe me when I tell them I'm in pain. I know my husband does, and my kids, too. In fact, at the supper table, son #1 said that sometimes when he wakes up really early in the morning and uses the bathroom, he can hear me whimpering. My daughter can, too, it seems. I didn't tell them, but that might not have been from pain.

::Blushes furiously::

Of course, then hubby quickly changes the subject and brings up my snoring.....
