Not feeling my best...
Jan. 2nd, 2005 09:26 pmI've been having sweats, and the shakes, and just all around feeling blah today. It was nice not to have the pressure of a deadline, even a self-imposed one. Resolutions is complete, although some of my readers would like me to continue, I'm not going to. Turnabout and Serendipity need my attention, as does Elise's story, which I find my mind turning to more and more.
Opened up a fortune cookie today, and this is what it said: You are a lover of words, someday you will write a book.
Hubby turned to me and told me, "You already have. It's just not printed on paper." So very true, but the novel about Elise awaits. I have a design for putting it on FictionPress, to use the reviews (what reviews there may be) to motivate me to continue and complete it, and to see if there is a market for it as well.
Tomorrow the children go back to school, and tomorrow I start back with Flylady. I was rather pleased; we had done one of the holiday clean-up missions that was posted today. Hubby was sweet; he put up some shelves behind me so I can put my Thunderbirds books and toys up there. I won't put my reference books up there; I use them quite a bit anyway. Nor will I put my Strunk and White's up there; that's got to be handy for easy reference. I feel a little less crowded in this corner now, and it will get better once I put the comic books away. Have to integrate the last two shipments I got. I really wish someone would reprint the entire run of "The Complete Thunderbirds Story". A lot of my comic book issues are missing it since it's in the center pages.
Enough for now. Time to think about getting some rest. G'night.
