One down, one to go

"Lucie's" goose is about to be cooked, well-done. It took forever and lots and lots of emails to the copyright infringement people at MSN, but finally her site "thethunderbirdsarego" is history. It was shut down for about 20 minutes after the first 48-hour warning, but was back up again for nearly a week before MSN got the message and shut it down for good. During that time, she copied the page that Masquerade and darkhelmetj's The Winds of Advent were on and posted it on her other site, "thunderbirdsare31".  Ironically, had the first site been shut down as was promised, the copy to the second site might never had taken place.

The whole "Lucie" thing had made it difficult to write much of anything, but over the past few days I did manage to get Masquerade 12 up. Chapter 13 is in progress but I'm not quite sure how to tie the ends together. There are several options available to me. The aftermath of what happens in chapters 12 and 13 are going to color the rest of the fic and make it much darker than I originally intended. Still, I hope to keep up the storyline, and do a good job of it. I've also started a movie-oriented fic which needs work.

PACT testing has started for the kids and will continue through next week. The boys brought home permission slips for the limo ride to Gatti-Town with the principal. Hopefully we'll get more info on it later.

Enough for now. Gotta see what I can do on ch. 13, and pop some more laundry into the washer.
