Weather is coming.

Finally made it to church today. We had dinner on the grounds to celebrate the 4th, which meant no Sunday School, a morning service at 10:30, then dinner, then a play at 1:30. I buddy taped my toe too tightly, and between that and the weather that's been threatening all day, I hurt. So after dinner, I had the Hubby take me home. We brought chili and zucchini bread. I tried to eat right, especially since I had eaten donuts for breakfast (I am so bad!).

Frankie's horse hurt her again today, but it was her fault this time. She and the horse tried to put their heads in the same place at the same time and the result was multiple fractures along her cheekbone and eyesocket. She's got to be hurting, and a whole lot more than I am.

Trying to work my way through The White Winds chapter 5. I'm getting ideas about a sequel to Turnabout, and I can hardly wait until C comes back with the scene from Masquerade she said she'd draw. Made contact with Jeri Massi, an author that the Hubby and I knew years ago when we were all working at the Press. She's got an interesting blog, and writes Dr. Who fan fiction. I think she's partial to the third Doctor, played by Jon Pertwee. The library had a taped version of a story of hers, which had been run through the demagnetizer and ruined. So I emailed and asked where we could buy a copy. She's going to send us one, I think.  I sent her the URLs of fanfiction.net, fictionpress.com, and Hubby's web comic (which I know she'll enjoy). Hope to hear back from her soon.

Feet are still giving me the heebie-jeebies.... don't know if I can concentrate on writing.
