A sticky South Carolina Saturday
Jul. 9th, 2005 11:07 amEleven o'clock and I've just finished breakfast. Before I could eat it though, I had to toss out three or four boxes of cereal that the ants had gotten into. I put all of the rest of the cereal into either Tupperware or zipper bags, so that should stop the incursions into the cereal, at least, as long as the kids remember to close the bags securely. We really need to get an exterminator out here; the bait traps we're using aren't working, the spray that Hubby bought is more fumes than spray, and the ants are winning the war. Grr.
Saw the vascular surgeon yesterday. Not my normal doctor but one of his partners. He didn't seem concerned about the blood that's still pooled behind the callous; he just debrided the top of it and said it was okay. I will admit it's not as bulgy now as it was on Monday, but still, I do not want a repeat of what happened in March! I'm keeping a close eye on it.
Not much else to say. Have to dig up some clothes for the day and put in some laundry. Found stuff for the kids to wear, but not for me. Also need a shower. Sigh. The day seems half over, but for me, it's barely begun.
More work on Masquerade 20, too.
