Skipped yesterday as I was at my bro's house most of the afternoon, so I'll catch up with it today.

Day 12 - An episode you've watched more than 5 times

ST:TOS "The Empath"

Why? Because for the longest time, whenever I tuned in to the syndicated reruns of ST:TOS, this was the episode that was on. Bad timing, really bad timing.

Day 13 - Favorite childhood show

Batman

Batman, live action, 1966. I was only 5. To me, this was action and adventure; I never saw the campyness of the show until I grew up. The death traps, the villains (my favorites were Frank Gorshin's Riddler, and Victor Buono's King Tut), and (swoons) Robin. I loved the show for just that character (as I've said elsewhere, I have a sidekick, damsel-in-distress thing. Always have.). On my 5th birthday, my mom recorded in my baby book that I'd gotten several Batman related items, including a Batman Colorform. I loved making up stories with that. In fact, my very first fanfiction was written about Batman. I gave Dick Grayson a sister, as I recall, and her superhero identity was Robinette.

As a result of my love for this show, I watched nearly every cartoon or movie that had Batman and Robin in it. I have many books on Batman the character (including one about the show). I collected Batman comic books for a long while. My husband bought me a Batman: The Animated Series Batman figure (It's as big as my two Thunderbirds dolls), and an old costumed Robin on his Robincycle. The mania has dimmed over the years, and never really approached the fervor of my Thunderbirds obsession, but I have good memories of the show and the characters... and I almost want to get cable so we can watch "The Brave and the Bold".

Holy time machine, Batman!
