The Hubby had made it for Sunday, but we had run out of "mild" seasoning packets, so he improvised. And how! Very spicy stuff, at least for our seasoning challenged family. I hope I don't get heartburn or reflux, though actually, he's more likely to get it than me.

The White Winds chapter 5 went up this afternoon. No reviews yet. Hopefully soon. MSN Messenger has been a bear, fading in and out, and AIM has given my sound card fits with the stupid advertising on the buddy list. I can't get to my MSN blogspace to update. Just an all around pesky computer day.

I've got another nasty blood blister starting. The area behind and around the eternal callous had changed color late last week, but it was only Sunday that I noticed it oozing, and only yesterday when I noticed the dark, nasty bulging. I've bandaged it and called the vascular surgeon's office today. Seems my doctor is out of town, and his nurse took her own sweet time getting back to me. (Sorry, Becks!) Hopefully they'll find time to squeeze me into the schedule tomorrow and it won't conflict with the Girl's appointment at the renal specialist.

Boy #1 has lost a couple of fish lately; today it was the twig catfish, one of the algae eaters. Now he no longer has any neons in the tank and just the one algae eater. At least the cory cats and the banjo cat seem to be doing okay. But in the interest of not having another 6 inch pleco, we'll probably be making a trip out to the World of Pets (or whatever they're calling themselves now; I know they changed names) for more fish. They really do have the longest lasting fish I've ever seen; the original two neons lived for two or three years.

Hubby will have to take the bus in the a.m. so I can have the car. I know I'm not supposed to be driving, but what other choice do I have? KF is out of town with her family for the month. Her hubby stopped by with another sizeable zucchini, a couple of cukes, and another BIG bag of plums. The kids are so excited to have the fresh produce, especially the fruit. I'll have to try one of the plums. They're small, but reportedly very sweet.

Enough chit chat. Time to work on Masquerade a bit more.
