PSA--USPS Food Drive

To all my US based friends, and anyone else from the US that might read this, it's a reminder that on Saturday, May 9, 2009, the National Association of Letter Carriers, in conjunction with the US Postal Service, will be having their nationwide Food Drive.

That's tomorrow, from where I'm sitting.

Postcards, and in some cases, special grocery bags, should have been distributed by your letter carrier during this past week. So please leave some non-perishable food out for your letter carrier to pick up tomorrow. If you have a P.O. Box, a cluster box, or another situation where you don't have a large, personal mailbox, please call your local post office for instructions on how to donate.

Most food drives happen around Thanksgiving, but this one takes place in the spring because people go hungry all year round.

So, please, support this good cause and make a donation of non-perishable food.

Stinking Windows Live Messenger is stinking...

and won't let me log in. Have no idea why: the server is supposedly available, the "troubleshooting" keeps going and going with no answers. So, if y'all want to talk to me, try me on AIM (Tiquatoo) or Yahoo Messenger (also Tiquatoo).

ETA: Took a reboot, but I'm finally back on WL Messenger. I have no idea what does this, but I think I may end up using YIM and AIM more often. blech.
