Couldn't tell you what, there just is. Wednesday is the only day of the week I have an actual playlist for on my Windows media player. It's the day of the week where the afternoon is busier than the morning.
Yesterday we went to the spelling bee finals at the boys' school. Boy #2 came in fourth in his grade, being knocked out on his second word. Boy #1 came in third; I think they intentionally gave him longer words. Still, I was proud of them, as was their dad, who was actually able to be there for a change. He and his supervisor had both forgotten that Monday was supposed to be his day off and he worked longer than 8 hours. So they "switched" the so-called day off (I say "so-called" because he always works them) to Tuesday, which meant he was off in time to go to the spelling bee. We had to sit through a truly horrible "musical" by the K through 2nd grade before they got to the good stuff. It was worse than the "musical" that the older kids put on at Christmas.
Saw the vascular surgeon yesterday, and he debrided the nasty callous that surrounded the hole in my right foot. Weather was coming on, so my neuropathy was giving me the jips. He was pleased that my foot was bleeding as he debrided it; showed I had good blood circulation, he said. Then I went to the prosthetics place about my shoes. By the time I got out of the doctor's office, I was late, and they were gone to lunch. So I grabbed a salad at a nearby grocery store and then came back. The tech at the prosthetics place put an actual hole in my shoe to try and prevent future callouses from forming. I hope it works.
My sister's birthday was yesterday, and I need to send her a card. My husband's youngest brother's birthday is tomorrow, and ditto.
Relena has tried three times to get back onto TBW. I emailed her after the first attempt and told her what the conditions were, and I emailed her after the second attempt, telling her she had to email me to discuss the matter (and that I wasn't emailing her again). When she tried the third time she said in her note to the manager that she would abide by the conditions. But she still doesn't get it. I want her to email me; that way I know that she's listening and is really ready to abide by the conditions. Lucie has also made an error; one that will definitely cost her. She stole one of Daria's fics. Now Daria is heavily involved and has not only contacted MSN and MSN groups, but she's also put a bug in the ear of Carlton, who owns the rights to Thunderbirds. Seems that the biographical stuff that Lucie stole is from Carlton's website. If this doesn't shut the idiot down, nothing will. I know it sounds cruel of me, but this woman has gone beyond nuisance to menace.
I promised Amanda I'd do some posting today at Thunderfan, so I'd better start thinking about that. Plus there's the ever-present housework and I really, really need a nap this morning. Not gonna get one anytime soon... sigh.
