Success has crowned our efforts!

Our efforts to find the webmaster of thunderbirdsonline.co.uk anyway. It was a combined effort between Daria and myself. She put the word out that she was looking for him/her and one of her friends looked the website up and voilà, there was a name and address. No email or phone number though.

I took it one step further. I did a search on the woman's name (the owner was a woman), and found someone with the same name at a University in England. She didn't have a link for email, but by looking at the other email addresses listed, I deduced what hers must be and sent off an email, inquiring if she was the same person.

Lo and behold, I got an email back, but not from the lady in the case, but from the webmaster himself! She had forwarded the email on to him and he got in touch with me. So now he's apprised about Lucie's thefts (she has his entire fan fiction page copied onto her site, including a link to the site itself! Talk about telling people where you stole something from!). I also found that Lucie copy/pasted large chunks of two of Daria's fics into one of her own "works". (Barf!) So there will be plenty of rope for Lucie to hang herself with once MSN gets their collective butts in motion. Daria will see to it that they do.

Chapter 10 of Masquerade is up. Now I have to write the rest of Lady Penelope's rescue. It's going to be interesting as I have a character death planned. One that will shake up IR and have Jeff and the boys wondering, "Is it worth it?" And I'm not saying who either because I know some of those who read this might also be reading the story.

Now, if I could only adjust my daughter's attitude. She's been acting as if she's got PMS for days now, but with no sign of her menstrual period. I know that girls her age often skip a month or so, so I'm not worried about that. What worries me is her snarky attitude toward her brothers. Well, this too shall pass. I just hope we survive it.

Hooray! I haven't seen tbonline.co.uk's webmaster around for a long time, since his message board closed down years ago, actually.

As for the girl, oh dear. I'm sure it won't last long :) all we women go through it (some of us still are, LOL!).

Keep on crusading against Lucie. She WILL be stopped :)
