Well, got chapter 12 of The White Winds up.

Surprisingly, it began to flow after I figured out where I was going with it. Now if the rest of the story, and of Overtures, would do the same. It felt good to have my muse working again.

Took Boy #1 to the doctor again; this makes it twice in one week. He has plantar warts, which was Dr. Mom's diagnosis. Fortunately, though Dr. Mom didn't know how to treat it, Dr. S. did. So now Boy #1 is on almost as many medications as his mother. We have to daub one of those ugly suckers on each foot with this cream, then wash it off in the morning. Once it starts getting red, then we do it every three days. I hope we can get rid of these quickly; Dr. S. told us it would take 4-6 weeks to kill off the virus. And since the dratted things are contagious, Boy #1 now has flipflops to wear in the shower. I'll be pouring bleach water into the tub tomorrow to try and disinfect it, hopefully killing off any viruses in the bath mat. I also bought a couple of nail scrubbers for the boy to use on his hands; he was not getting them clean at all. But once he used the brush, he did!

Got a new bathroom scale, one that works, and treated myself to a new (inexpensive) PDA to replace the one that's dead. Bought the latest version of the same kind I had before. Took me a while to input all the addresses again. Now I have to do all the scheduled doctors visits, too. I'll see the neurologist tomorrow, and will make an appointment with my GYN as well. Staying healthy is pretty demanding work!

Sent off a sympathy card to C. Her FIL passed away last week. I figured it would be soon.
