And I made the big mistake of going to the grocery store before breakfast. Came out laden down with cake, fudge, snack treats, and apple fritters. All on sale of course but none of it truly necessary. (Though the fritters went well with my coffee!) The shopping wasn't all unnecessary junk food, though. I did get stuff for tonight's meal; some small steaks on sale, fresh corn on the cob (on sale), and I already have some potatoes for baking. And some fresh pineapple at a great price, too. With the cake to top it off, we'll have a good supper and I am determined that the potatoes will be in the oven when I go pick up Hubby.
